Police investigate deadly shooting in Lincoln

A shooting death in Lincoln is under investigation.

According to Maine Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss, Lincoln police responded to a 911 call around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday reporting a shooting at a home on Mohawk Road. One person was found dead and taken to the medical examiner’s office.

Maine State Police believe the shooting was an isolated incident and there’s no threat to the public.

We’re expecting more information to be released as the investigation continues.
