Police identify man fatally hit by train in Falmouth

FALMOUTH, Maine (AP) Authorities in Maine say they’re investigating the death of a man who was struck by a train in Falmouth.

Police told WGME-TV on Thursday the collision happened near Gray Road in the western part of town. The victim has been identified as 62-year-old Lewis Bradley, whose most recent address was in Portland.

It happened behind the West Falmouth Crossing shopping plaza, off Route 100.

Police say the train involved in the crash was an Amtrak train.
