Police investigate report of shots fired in Portland’s East Bayside neighborhood

PORTLAND, Maine (WGAN) Portland Police are investigating a report of shots fired on Thursday evening.

Police say the report came in near the area of Anderson and Everett Streets a little after 5 p.m.

K-9 units and detectives were at the scene to gather evidence.

Police said two males were seen leaving the area and one was observed getting into a vehicle. There were no reports of any victims or injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Portland police.
