Police investigate report of shots fired in Portland’s West End

No arrests have been made yet as police in Portland investigate a report of gunshots in the West End Sunday evening.

Police responded to shots fired around 6:40 p.m. Sunday on Tate Street. Two people were questioned, but no arrests have been made.

A search warrant was served as part of the investigation.

Anyone in the area who may have information about what happened is asked to contact Portland Police. They’re also asking area residents to check their homes and cars to see if they may have been struck by gunfire.
