Police say they’ve received reports in recent days of a man in a vehicle approaching women in the area. Patrol officers are stepping up their presence near where the vehicle was seen.

A description of the vehicle wasn’t provided, but police spokesman David Singer says they’re working with varied descriptions from the reports.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Portland Police Department.
