Police investigate shooting death at Augusta towing business

Maine State Police say a Lewiston man was fatally shot at a towing company in Augusta on Friday.

Spokesperson Shannon Moss says 36-year-old Tyler Morin of Lewiston was killed in the shooting around 11 a.m. Friday. It happened at Ready Road Service Towing Company on Riverside Drive.

Police on Friday said no arrests had been made. The circumstances of Morin’s death were still under investigation, with an autopsy expected in the coming days.

No other details were immediately available.
