Police Investigating Alleged Stabbing in Standish

STANDISH, Maine (WGAN)  The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office says they are looking for two suspects in an alleged stabbing incident.

Police say they were called to Colby Drive just before noon Wednesday.  A 25-year-old man had suffered superficial cuts, according to police.  The man says two men on four-wheelers attacked him while on an ATV trail off Colby Drive.

Police say the first suspect was a white male, about 6’2″, between 30-40 years old.  He was wearing a brown long-sleeve Carhartt shirt, dark pants and work boots.  He had a brown bandana covering his face and a dragon tattoo on his left forearm.  Police say he was riding a brown four-wheeler.

The second suspect is described as being a white male driving a green four-wheeler.  He was wearing a dark colored shirt, dark jeans and work boots.

Police say the suspect, who is not being identified, was treated at the scene and released.

Police say they do not believe the public is in danger.
