Police Investigating Burglaries in Penobscot County

EDDINGTON, Maine (WGAN)  The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a pair of burglaries that happened over the weekend.

The sheriff’s office says the first one happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday at the Clifton Country Store.  Police say forced entry was made into the store and an undisclosed amount of merchandise and money was taken.

The second one happened at 4 a.m. at the Tradewinds in Eddington.  Again, forced entry was made and and undisclosed amount of merchandise and money was taken.

Both cases are under investigation and deputies say anyone with information should contact the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office at (207) 947-4585.
