Police Investigating Death in Presque Isle

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WGAN)  State Police are investigating a death in Presque Isle.

Police say around 4:15 p.m. on Sunday, the Presque Isle Police Department got a call about a deceased person at a residence on Washburn Road.

The Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit was called in and opened an investigation.

Police say the deceased person has been taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office for identification and an autopsy will be completed Tuesday.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact either State Police in Houlton or Presque Isle Police.
