KINGMAN, Maine (WGAN)  State Police say they are investigating the deaths of two women inside their home in the Penobscot County Township of Kingman as two suicides.

Police say the adult mother and daughter’s bodies were discovered Tuesday afternoon by their landlord, in the bedrooms of the house they were renting at 17 Park Street.

The victims are 28-year-old Ashley Clark and her 57-year-old mother, Deborah Pecor.

Both women had been in failing health and a suicide note was found, dated last Friday.

The State Medical Examiner’s Office was scheduled to examine the bodies today at a local funeral home.

Kingman is about 20 miles from Medway.
