An arrest has been made in connection with an investigation at a Lewiston home where a suspicious fire broke out.
Firefighters worked to extinguish the fire on Libby Avenue that was reported around 7:12 p.m. Monday.
Crews battled the flames from the roof and top floor and were quickly able to the extinguish the fire.
During the fire, police canvassed the area and searched nearby woods with a drone overhead, with some officers wielding long guns.
Police were at the same house on Sunday, where an arrest warrant had been issued for Treven Stoops, 38.
Stoops was arrested Tuesday morning in Auburn and taken to Androscoggin County Jail.
No other details including his charges were available as of Tuesday.
Police said Tuesday that reports of people in two vehicles shooting at each other on Sabattus Street on Monday are not accurate.
