Police make 4th arrest in drug-related shooting in Machias

MACHIAS, Maine (WGAN) A Massachusetts man was arrested Friday in connection with a drug-related shooting death in Machias.

41-year-old Jorge Pagan-Sanchez of Taunton, Massachusetts was arrested while trying to flee his home early Friday morning, according to Shannon Moss with the Maine Department of Public Safety.

Pagan-Sanchez is charged with felony murder for the shooting death of 17-year-old Brandon Guerrero of New York, which happened in Machias on November 4th.

Earlier this month, police arrested three other people accused in the killing, one from New Hampshire and two from Massachusetts.

Maine State Police are still investigating the shooting.
