Police: Man Whose Daughter Was Killed in Crash Had Suspended License

CATHANCE, Maine (WGAN) Washington County police are investigating a crash that killed an 11-year-old.

According to WMTW Channel 8, 45-year-old Christopher Stevenson of Roque Bluffs hit a tree after going off the road on Route 191 in Cathance Township Thursday night. His daughter, who has not been identified, was a passenger in the car and died at the scene.

Police say Stevenson was issued a summons after it was discovered his license had been suspended.

The crash is still under investigation.
