Police say a driver being pursued by officers in Aroostook County crashed into a horse-drawn Amish wagon Tuesday morning.

Police say 34-year-old Anthony Vangel of Easton, who was wanted for failure to report to jail, led police on a chase in Presque Isle around 7:30 a.m.

Vangel eventually crashed into the wagon carrying six children, who, along with the horse, were not injured.

Vangel was arrested and faces numerous charges, including operating under the influence, operating after suspension, and violation of bail.
