Police release identity of man fatally shot in Hiram

HIRAM, Maine (WGAN) Maine State Police have released the identity of a man who died in a shooting on Saturday.

Shannon Moss with the Maine Department of Public Safety says the shooting happened before 1 a.m. on Oak Woods Road in Hiram.

Police found the victim, 18-year-old Ian Morris of Portland, dead at the scene.

An autopsy was expected to get underway in the following days.

More information is expected as the investigation continues.
