Police say “brutal assault” led to charges for Piscataquis County man

An Orneville man is behind bars for what police are calling a “brutal assault.”

The Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office says 25-year-old Lindel “Anthony” Wilson was identified as the suspect in an assault that left one man severely injured on Oct. 28.

Two women were also assaulted.

Wilson, who knew the victims, was arrested Tuesday and charged with elevated aggravated assault and aggravated assault.
