Police say Westbrook man who peeked in windows is charged with stalking, violation of privacy

Police in Portland have arrested a Westbrook man accused of peering in windows.

Police say they responded to multiple calls in recent days of a man entering the backyards of homes on Emery, Pleasant and State Streets and peeking in windows.

Police arrested 70-year-old Gary Ganem on Sunday night. He was charged with violation of privacy and stalking.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact Portland police.
