Police search for person of interest in Waterville death investigation

Police in Waterville have identified a person of interest in a death investigation.

Investigators say an arrest warrant has been issued for 20-year-old Spirdal Hubiak of Waterville. Police say Hubiak is a white male with dark hair. They believe he left the state and is armed. He’s said to be driving a 2010 Black Ford Taurus with Maine registration 4666ZR.

Maine State Police say the death investigation is happening at Damon’s Beverage in Waterville, where Hubiak was an employee.

No details about the circumstances surrounding the death have been released.
