Police Search for Suspect in Unity Pharmacy Robbery

UNITY, Maine (WGAN) The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office says the Unity Pharmacy on Plaza Drive in Unity was robbed on Monday afternoon.

Police say the male suspect walked into the pharmacy around 1:30 and handed an employee a note demanding prescription medication, and received an undisclosed amount.

He was described as being about 6 feet tall with an average build, blue eyes, wearing black clothing and a mask. Video surveillance shows him arriving in a red or maroon four door car similar to a Chevy Aveo.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office.
