Police search for vehicle involved in crash that downed utility pole in Gorham

Police in Gorham are looking for the driver of a vehicle who left the scene after striking a utility pole.

Police say the crash happened around 11 p.m. Sunday at 182 Ossipee Trail, or Route 25, in the area of Clay Road. The pole was struck down in the crash, and wires were blocking the road.

Police say they believe the vehicle was a Toyota Tundra pickup with damage on the front end and windshield. They provided a stock photo on social media:

That section of road was closed off up until early Monday.

Police are asking anyone with information to give them a call.
