Police: Small plane crashes but no one hurt in Maine

SURRY, Maine (AP) Maine State Police say a small plane crashed in the town of Surry but there were no injuries.

Spokeswoman Katy England said state and local police responded to the crash site late Monday afternoon, but further details weren’t available.

The Federal Aviation Administration didn’t immediately respond to a request for more information.

Surry is on the coast in Hancock County, near Mount Desert Island.
