A South Portland man was arrested for plotting a bank robbery.
On Saturday, police found 49-year-old William Hood in the woods near a bank in Scarborough. Police said he had a robbery note, a money deposit bag and a knife.
Police first received notice of Hood from a bank employee, who said a suspicious person wearing a black sweatshirt and sunglasses had entered the bank, took withdrawal slips then walked out.
