Portland, ME – (WGAN)  Congressman Bruce Poliquin has called off the recount of his election loss to Democrat Jared Golden.

Poliquin issued a statement on Twitter saying the recount so far confirmed that he had the most votes on election day.

Poliquin still maintains that the ranked choice voting method used in the election is unconstitutional…even though a federal judge threw out Poliquin’s appeal.
