A popular Irish pub in Portland’s Old Port is closing its doors.

Bull Feeney’s opened in 2002.

In a news release Wednesday, owner Douglas Fuss said the pub will close this Sunday.

According to the Portland Press Herald, Fuss did not rule out the possibility of having a new owner take over the pub.

The paper says he encouraged “a motivated lover of pubs” to contact him about possible ownership.
