Portland Police are investigating after a duplex was hit by gunshots for the second time in three months Monday night.

Officers say the shooting took place just before midnight at 12 Eleanor Street, where they found several bullet holes in the building, with at least one passing through a window and others striking the siding.

A gas line was struck in the previous shooting at the duplex back in October. The building is located in the Morrills Corner area.

Portland Police are continuing the investigation and are urging anyone who has any information to call them at (207) 874-8575. Anyone may also text the keyword PPDME and message to 847411.
