Portland Expo vax clinic to phase out first doses next month

Another mass vaccination clinic will be winding down in Maine.

Northern Light Mercy Hospital says it’s opening up new smaller vaccination sites as it prepares to stop offering first doses at the Portland Expo by June 18th. That site will remain open for second doses on Fridays in June from 8am to noon.

They said those who have received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine elsewhere can also schedule their second shot there.

Northern Light says it will continue to provide shots at Northern Light Mercy Primary Care, Northern Light Pharmacy Fore River, and the walk-in care facilities in Gorham and Windham.
