Portland hospital employee tests positive for COVID-19

Portland (WGME) — The State of Maine has 17 presumed positive cases of coronavirus in Maine, and one of them is an employee at Northern Light Mercy Hospital in Portland.

According to hospital officials, the employee works at a location outside of the main hospital campus, and they have been contacting people who had contact with the employee.

The hospital did not release details on what position the employee held, or how much contact they had with patients.
