The Portland Jetport had its all-time busiest year in 2025, with almost 2.6 million passengers passing through the facility, breaking the record of 2.48 million in 2024.
The Jetport says it’s seen a rapid restoration of service since the pandemic and was the first airport in New England to surpass its pre-pandemic levels.

“Another record setting year is in the books,” said airport director Paul Bradbury. “We can’t emphasize enough how unusual it is for northern New England to outperform the region. It is a testament to the strength of the Portland and Maine markets.”

American Airlines is the largest carrier at the Jetport, carrying almost 30 percent of the passengers.

Market Share by Airline:

American Airlines 726,443 28.01%
Delta Air Lines 584,857 22.55%
United Airlines 525,984 20.28%
Southwest Airlines 426,131 16.43%
Breeze Airways 187,107 7.22%
JetBlue Airways 90,248 3.48%
Frontier Airlines 27,997 1.08%
Sun Country Airlines 21,855 0.84%
Avelo Airlines 2,445 0.09%

United Airlines added non-stop service to Houston last year and is adding weekly flights on Saturdays to San Francisco and Los Angeles this summer.

The jetport also made significant upgrades last summer, with the $21.6 Million, 4,200 square foot addition to the passenger concourse adding three new passenger boarding bridges.
