Portland man faces charges after allegedly throwing brick at victim

Portland police have arrested a man accused of throwing a brick at someone and assaulting them.

The Portland Police Department says 34-year-old Abdoalmonim Kodi, who’s unhoused, is accused of assaulting a man Wednesday afternoon on Portland street and threatening another person with a knife.

Kodi was arrested and taken to Cumberland County Jail on assault and criminal threatening charges.

The victim was treated and released from Maine Medical Center.
