Portland Man Faces Drug, Stolen Gun Charges After Rock Throwing Accusation

A 36-year-old Portland man faces numerous charges after police say he threw a rock through car window in Portland and had cocaine and a stolen handgun on him.

Police say found Keon Gaston short time after being sent to a report of rock thrown through a vehicle’s window at Chestnut and Oxford streets at around 12:10 p.m. on Sunday.

Officers say was in possession of almost 12 grams of cocaine and a stolen handgun at the time, and faces five charges, including theft by receiving stolen property, criminal mischief, illegal possession of a firearm, aggravated furnishing of scheduled drugs and violating conditions of release.

Portland Police have not released any further information on the case.
