Portland police make arson arrest after art display is set ablaze

Police in Portland have arrested a local transient accused of setting an art display on fire in the city’s Congress Square Park.

Police say it happened around 6 p.m. on Sunday. The suspect, 22-year-old Trea Sean Deam-Monet, was located and taken into custody.

Deam-Monet has been charged with arson.

Firefighters extinguished the fire and no one was hurt.
