With Covid-19 presenting challenges for many local small business owners, News-Radio WGAN and its parent company Portland Radio Group have created a website designed to help support the community we call home.

In Maine, we support our neighbors. We stand up and lend a hand, even when it’s hard. Because we know that together, we’re strong.

Now is one of those times to rise up and say ‘We are Maine Strong’. We will support our local businesses, because they are owned and operated by (or employ) our friends, families, and neighbors. We will encourage those around us, sharing the good and calming the fear.

#WeAreMaineStrong is a movement to support local businesses today so they can keep their doors open tomorrow.

This is an invaluable resource to connect our community so please check it out yourself; The more we let people know it is there, the more it will grow and the more valuable it will become.

Let’s get creative, be positive, and support local.
