Portland Woman Accused of Impersonating Officer, Threatening to Shoot Someone

A 40-year-old woman is accused of pretending to be a police officer and threatening to shoot someone in Portland Tuesday evening.

Police say they were called to 4 Hill Street at 6:21 p.m., where a woman told them someone knocked on her door, claiming to be a police officer and saying they would shoot her if she did not come to the door.

Officers say they identified a suspect and were issued a search warrant for an apartment, where they recovered two handguns and ammunition.

Police arrested Heidi Fuller of Portland, charging her with Terrorizing and Impersonating a Public Servant.

She was taken to the Cumberland County Jail.
