Representative Chellie Pingree says she’ll vote for articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump.

She says there’s a “mountain of evidence” that the President used his office to try to get a foreign government to interfere in the 2020 election.

She said the framers of the constitution were worried that a President would abuse power to advance personal interests.

Maine’s other member of the house, Democratic Representative Jared Golden, has not said whether he’ll vote for or against impeachment.

President Trump insists he did nothing wrong.
