Suspect located after fatal shooting in Windham

A suspect has been located and a shelter-in-place order lifted after a fatal shooting in Windham Friday afternoon.

Dispatchers reported the shooting just before 2 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Route 302 and Landing Road.

Police said a male who had been shot did not survive.

That shelter-in-place order for a portion of Windham and Raymond was lifted around 7 p.m.

In a press conference Friday evening, police said the suspect was located after their vehicle was found.

Officials have not said whether the suspect was found dead or alive.

Dispatchers mentioned one victim, but no details about their condition were immediately available.
