Maine State Police say the reward for information about a missing person case from more than two decades ago has been increased.

Police believe the disappearance of Angel Torres the night of May 21st, 1999 was the result of foul play and have been following leads ever since. He was last seen on South Street in Biddeford that night.

The reward has reached $20,000 thanks to a donation from a local business owner.

Police say a key witness he was with the night of his disappearance died in 2015 of a drug overdose before he could tell investigators the whole story of what happened.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Maine State Police.
