Road closed as crews removed vehicle that crashed through Westbrook home

A Westbrook home was damaged when a vehicle crashed through it Wednesday afternoon.

Police said one person was taken to the hospital after the vehicle struck the home on Route 25, or Conant Street. The person’s condition was not immediately available.

The road was reduced to one alternating lane while crews worked to remove the vehicle.
