Roof Worker Has Serious Burn Injuries After Incident in Auburn

A 62-year-old worker has serious injuries after being shocked and falling from a ladder in Auburn.
Auburn Police say a roofing company worker was raking snow from the roof of the Auburn Senior Community Center on Pettengill Park Road.

They say the metal rake being used made contact with a power line on the roof, shocking the man, who fell from the ladder.
Officers say the man was taken to a local hospital with major burns to his hands and legs.
Auburn Police says they notified the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), as is protocol with workplace injuries.
The incident took place at about 10:40 am at the Auburn Senior Community Center, located at 48 Pettengill Park Road.
