For a fourth time, a school budget proposal is up for discussion in Litchfield, Sabattus and Wales.

A public meeting was scheduled for Monday night to discuss the latest budget proposal for RSU 4. The previous three plans were shot down by residents.

According to CBS 13 news, the superintendent says they’ve reduced the budget by over $600,000 compared to the initial proposal. It now stands at just under $22 million, a 2.8 percent increase from the previous year’s budget.

Following Monday night’s meeting, the school board will vote on whether to send the latest proposal to voters on Election Day.
