Saco Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting a Child


SACO, Maine (WGAN) Saco Police say a 22-year-old Saco man is charged with sexually assaulting a child.

On October 9th, the Saco Police Department received a report of a person under the age of 14 being sexually assaulted in the City of Saco. Detectives from the Saco Police Department Criminal Investigation Division responded to investigate. Through investigation, 22-year-old Jordan Berube of Saco, was identified as a suspect in the case.

On October 15th, an arrest warrant was issued for Jordan Berube of Saco charging him with 2 counts of Gross Sexual Assault on a person who had yet to attain the age of 14. Jordan Berube has been booked on these charges and is currently at the York County Jail. He is scheduled to be arraigned in York County Superior Court on November 30th at 8:15 a.m.
