(WGAN) Police in Saco are investigating a robbery that occurred at the Irving Circle K on Portland Road.

Police say a male entered the store just after 6:30 a.m. Sunday, pointed a handgun at a cashier and demanded money from the cash register.

The suspect fled the store on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspect was described as a dark-complected male, about five-foot-five to five-foot-seven with a medium build.

He was wearing a gray hoodie with a zipper, dark pants, and red and white sneakers.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call the Saco Police Department.
