Saco police seek suspect in hit-and-run that left one person and their dog injured

One person was injured in a hit-and-run while walking their dog in Saco on Monday night.

Saco police received a report of a hit-and-run around 6 p.m. Monday on Lincoln Street just west of Forest Street.

The person and their dog were struck by a small, light-colored vehicle, which fled the scene toward Boom Road.

The individual was hospitalized with a leg injury and their dog was taken to an emergency veterinarian.

Saco police are asking anyone with information to give them a call.
