Sanford Mainers Back on the Field After Deadly Attack

SANFORD, Maine (WGAN) Fans came out to support the Sanford Mainers at their home opener Wednesday night after a deadly attack on Friday. 51-year-old Carol Sharrow drove her car on to the field at Goodall Park Friday and fatally struck 68-year-old Doug Parkhurst.

At one point during the night a rainbow emerged over Goodall Park. Our info partners at Channel 8 say fans took it as a sign of positivity after a dark time.
