Sanford Man Stabbed Wednesday Night During Fight

SANFORD, Maine (WGAN)  A man from Sanford was stabbed Wednesday night and was flown to the hospital.

22-year-old Austin Murphy was stabbed in the chest and police say his injuries should be considered serious.

Police say Murphy was involved in a fight near 54 Emory Street in Sanford.

He was flown to Maine Medical Center in Portland via LifeFlight Wednesday night.
