Police say they’ve made an arrest after a woman was found unconscious in the street, though they don’t suspect foul play was involved.

On Tuesday, Sanford Police said 41-year-old Eric Jackson of Sanford was taken into custody for violating conditions of his bail. It happened after his girlfriend, 39-year-old Monique Blanchette, was found unconscious on Twombley Road in the early morning hours on Thursday, June 10th.

Police say Jackson had bail conditions not to have contact with her but was found to be with her that night. However, they don’t suspect her injury was the result of foul play.

Blanchette was taken to the hospital where she was listed in stable condition following the incident.

Police are still investigating and asking anyone with information to give them a call.
