SACO, Me (WGAN) – A lawsuit has been filed against a part-owner of a lobster wholesaler in Saco.

The Portland Press Herald says the suit was filed by Sea Salt…which is a restaurant and lobster wholesaler.

The suit was filed by the company against Matthew Bellarose of Scarborough, claiming he and another man set up a phony account to which lobsters were sent. T

he lobsters were never paid for and the two resold them, with about $1.5 million being involved…and that amount could go over $2 million.

The suit was filed in York County Superior Court.

No word if any criminal charges will be filed.
