Scarborough Middle School Evacuated Due to Threat

SCARBOROUGH, Maine (WGAN)  Students getting evacuated from Scarborough Middle School Thursday morning because of a bomb threat.

Scaborough Police say around 9:45 a.m., they were called because of a note written on a bathroom wall, threatening that there was a bomb inside the school.

Students were evacuated to another building.

Police say they searched the building and didn’t find anything.  Police say there is no reason to believe anyone is in danger right now.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Scarborough Police.
