Schools, town offices closed in Winslow following stabbing

A suspect is in custody following a stabbing in Winslow.

According to the Morning Sentinel, Winslow Police Chief Leonard Macdaid says a man was stabbed at least six times on LaSalle Street around 10 a.m. Wednesday.

During the search for the suspect, Winslow Schools and town office were placed in a lock out.

There’s no word yet on the victim’s condition. The suspect’s identity had not been released as of Wednesday.
