Sen. King officially endorses Kamala Harris for president

Maine Independent Sen. Angus King has endorsed Kamala Harris for president.

In a social media post Thursday, King talked about his personal experiences with Harris while serving on the Senate Intelligence Committee. King spoke highly of Harris, saying the vice president is “passionate about two things: the truth and our democracy.”

Maine Republican Sen. Susan Collins says she’s voting for Nikki Haley in November.
