LEWSTON, Maine (WGME) _ Lewiston residents pleading for an end to violence after shots were fired a second weekend in a row. Our info partners at CBS 13 News report shots were fired on Horton street around 6:30 Friday night.

Lewiston Resident Ann Boswell told CBS 13 News that this has to stop. “Everybody wants to walk the street. Everybody wants to walk down to the store and get exercise. But if you have this every day, how are you going to get around?”

Other residents like John Vallee are calling for police to do more. He says the violence will only stop if police step up their efforts.

No injuries were reported from the shooting. Police are still looking for who was involved. Anyone with information should contact Lewiston police.
